How can I get to the hotel from Hiroshima Airport?
It takes approximately 1 hour (about 67 km) by car or taxi. We can also arrange a private limousine taxi that provides direct transportation from the airport (from ¥39,000 one way). Please contact us in advance to check availability.

What is the capacity of each room type?
“Niwa” and “Suzumi” rooms accommodate up to 2 guests (including children aged 6 and above). The two-story “Sora-suzumi” and “Niwa-suzumi” rooms can accommodate up to 3 guests by adding futon bedding in the tatami room.

Can I stay with young children?
Yes, families are welcome. Guests aged 6 and above are counted as adults. Standard rooms accommodate up to 2 guests, while two-story rooms accommodate up to 3 guests. One child aged 5 or under may share a bed. Upon request, we can arrange a king-size (Hollywood twin) bed for added comfort.

Are there rooms suitable for extended stays or groups?
For extended stays or groups, the maisonette-style “Sora-suzumi” and “Niwa-suzumi” rooms are ideal. The second-floor tatami room with a sunken kotatsu can be used as a relaxing gathering space or as a bedroom for three guests.

What kind of meals are served during the stay?
We serve dishes featuring seafood from the Seto Inland Sea, along with locally grown vegetables and citrus fruits. Drawing on the culinary wisdom and techniques that have gathered in this historic port town, we bring out the unique flavors of seasonal ingredients. Served on tableware passed down through the Horiuchi family, we present the dining experience of Setoda.

Yes, private dining rooms are available. You can enjoy seasonal Setoda cuisine in a relaxed, private setting. Availability depends on the day, so please feel free to ask our staff.

Yes, advance reservations are required due to limited seating. Dinner is served in two seating times, and we recommend booking early to secure your preferred time.

Do the guest rooms have baths, and is there a public bath?
All guest rooms are equipped with bathtubs made of fragrant natural Japanese cypress (hinoki). In addition, during your stay, you may use the public bath “yubune,” located across the street at our sister property, free of charge as many times as you like.

Can I bring a baby to the public bath?
We kindly ask that infants who are not yet toilet-trained refrain from using the public bath.

Can I use the public bath if I have tattoos?
Guests with small fashion tattoos (e.g., one-point tattoos) are welcome to use the facility.

Are there cultural experiences available near the hotel?
Yes, we offer a variety of experiences that allow you to explore Setoda’s history and craftsmanship, including lemon harvesting, denim production, tours of shrines and wineries, and Zen meditation at temples.

Yes, during the harvest season from October to early April, we offer a range of experiences unique to Setoda, Japan’s leading lemon-producing region.
- Lemon Harvesting: Pick fresh, seasonal lemons yourself at a pesticide-free farm.
- Lemon Grove Picnic: Enjoy a relaxing and luxurious time surrounded by lemon fields.
- Lemon Valley Cycling: Ride through the scenic area known as “Lemon Valley.”
