It starts with a light ride along the seafront, taking in the spectacular scenery and pleasant air, cycling to the Lemon Valley, a hill where lemon groves are clustered together.
Setoda is Japan’s largest producer of lemons.
A private visit is made to a farmer who has been growing lemons using natural farming methods in the Lemon Valley, south-west of the region, for almost 40 years. You can learn about lemons, the land and farming with the farmer’s light-hearted talk while actually tasting the lemons. You can also take home your picked lemons as a souvenir.
*Price includes a bicycle rental, water, helmets, Limonata to drink in the fields, 5 souvenir lemons
